No native AI guest messaging. The pricing page's feature list contains no AI features at all, and the April 2026 product update - the most recent - is entirely non-AI (mobile messaging, Face ID on iOS, desktop message filtering and bulk actions). Smoobu's own blog positions third-party AI (Google Gemini) and an AI Concierge partner alongside Smoobu rather than inside it, which is the clearest signal available that the AI is not native.

Anyone buying a PMS because of its AI. Smoobu should not appear on an AI shortlist at all in July 2026: there is no AI feature on the pricing page, no AI entry in the product-update archive, and the company's own blog recommends bolting on third-party AI (Gemini, an AI Concierge partner) rather than pointing at anything native. The last product update was 16 April 2026. Also wrong for US operators (billing is EUR-native) and for anyone above ~10 units who needs owner statements and trust accounting.
