Updates — every change to the index, dated

Capability moves, price moves and corrections, newest first. Every entry names what changed, what it now says, and the date it changed — including corrections to our own errors.

What lands here next. Every cell in this index carries a check date and no fact is allowed to sit for more than 90 days without being re-read at its source — the rule is set out on the methodology page. When a re-check moves a cell, the move is published here with the vendor’s own source link. When a re-check moves nothing, only the date changes and nothing is published, because “nothing changed” is not news.

How entries marked “monitored change” get here

A scheduled job reads each platform’s own changelog, release notes or product-update feed once a week, compares a hash of the text against the previous copy, and drafts an entry only where the text actually moved. Every draft is discarded unless it cites a page fetched in that same run, dates the observation to the day it was read, and states what the page says rather than what we think of the vendor. A quiet week publishes nothing.

Those entries record a reading. They do not move a cell in the capability matrix — cells move only when a person re-reads the source, which is the rule on the methodology page. Once a month the readings are collected into an index post that also names every monitored platform which shipped nothing, because that half is the part a vendor will never publish about itself.
